Phyllis  Jackman
Phyllis Ann Jackman, 80, passed away at her residence at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020. She was born Dec. 7, 1939, in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Edgar and Violet (Phillips) Walker.
Phyllis was a homemaker, a member of Antioch Christian Church and loved the Lord very much. She also enjoyed bingo at the Senior Citizen Center and loved animals.
Survivors include her children, Gary Jackman and his wife Joan of Bloomfield, Indiana, Clifton Jackman of Huntington, West Virginia, Stephanie Canolty of Washington, Indiana; brother William Walker of Huntington, West Virginia; and her grandsons, Brandon Jackman and Joshua Canolty. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Clyde Walker.
Graveside services for Phyllis will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, in Old Union Cemetery, Reeve Township, with Brother Alfred Helms officiating. There will be no visitation and Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to assist the Jackman family with arrangements. Online memories may be shared with Phyllis' family and friends at

I am so sorry for your loss. I often remember back when we lived in the country and Clarence Hornaday was our buss driver. He was the best bus driver. I also think back to when we went to alfordsville school. Your parents and grandparents where good neighbors.
