Indianapolis, Indiana - Molly Nelsen Smith, 30, passed away at her home in Indianapolis on the evening of July 12th. Molly was a free spirit who loved animals and considered her dogs, Zeus and Hazel, to be her children. She was an amazing mother to them. In her spare time, she liked to organize donations for local shelters, spent most of the day loving on her dogs, and hung out with her best friends. She loved to cook and often found new recipes to try for her family when she was home visiting.

She is survived by her parents, Todd and Kelly (Stellato) Smith, her older brother and sister in-law Zach and Luci Smith, her older sister and brother-in-law Ally (Smith) and Andy Adams. She is also survived by her nephews, Taylor Smith, Zander Smith, Knox Adams, and her nieces Aria Adams, Selah Smith and Lennon Smith; grandmothers Janet Smith and Barbara Littell Taylor and her significant other, Charles Morlock; 4 aunts, 5 uncles, and 9 cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Neil Smith and Ralph Stellato, and her beloved cat Pixie.

There will be a celebration of life for Molly on Saturday, August 15 (her birthday) at Ironwood Social from 12-4.

Molly was a big advocate of pet adoption, so to honor her, we ask that all donations be made to your local humane society.
