Bloomington, IN - MARY ANN (née HUBBARD) ELLIOTT
Mary Ann Elliott of Bloomington, Indiana, died July 31, 2026. She was a long-time resident of Loogootee, Indiana. She was born July 27, 1937, to the late David and Minnie Margaret (née Keepes) Hubbard of Princeton, Indiana. She was a graduate of the 1955 class of Princeton High School. She was a retired bookkeeper.
Mary Ann married William Nelson Elliott, Jr., February 21, 1958, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Nelson survives her. Other survivors include: her daughter, Valerie (James Strange) Elliott of Ellettsville, Indiana; her son, William David (Sheila) Elliott of Franklin, Kentucky; her granddaughter, Vanessa Walton of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her grandson, William Ian Elliott of Louisville, Kentucky; her two great grandchildren; and her brother, Raymond Hubbard of Haubstadt, Indiana.
There will be no visitation or services. Memorial gifts can be sent to St. Meinrad Archabbey, Seminary, and School of Theology.
Mary Ann will be remembered as the best cook in Southwestern Indiana, a skilled seamstress, and a generous, loving mother and wife. Her family will miss her Sunday morning biscuits and gravy.
