Laverne was a very dear friend of mine. When I worked at Western Union Telegraph Office, Laverne worked at Uniroyal and she called my office often to send telegrams. She and I were also in the D of I and she was faithful to attend meetings. She was a dear faithful catholic and lived a wonderful life in the Lord.
