John Christopher Grannan
John Christopher "Chris" Grannan, 61, of Washington passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at Daviess Community Hospital.
Chris was born Sept. 14, 1958, in Washington, to Bernard "Doc" Grannan and Mary Jacqueline (Fridrich) Grannan. He attended Washington High School. Chris had worked at Solar Sources and then owned and operated Woody's Bar and Grill for several years.
He is survived by his mother, Jackie Grannan of Washington; brothers Bernard F. "Rick" Grannan of Washington, Paul T. Grannan of Florida and Gerald "Jerry" (Christine) Grannan of Fort Wayne; a sister, Mary Beth (Michael) Lancaster of Sterling, Illinois; and four nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bernard "Doc" Grannan.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. Paul Ferguson as celebrant.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. A reception in his honor will follow at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel, 620 E. Viola Ave., Washington.

My deepest condolences. I did not know Chris, but always only heard good things about him. Heard he was a great guy. May God comfort you all.
