Washington, IN - Mary Frances "Fran" Madlem, 83, Washington, passed away March 16, 2025 at her residence. She was born January 13, 1942 to Albert and Claire Morgan in Decker Chapel, Indiana. Fran worked for Pike County EMS and was part owner and operator of Francesca's Boutique for many years. She formerly attended Gospel Center Church in Petersburg.
Fran is survived by her husband, Ronald Madlem; daughter, Connie Davis; grandchildren, Carie Davis, Courtney Davis, Morgan Palma, Christina Smith; great-grandchildren, Kaden Davis and Karsyn Baker; and sisters, Betty Morgan and Henri Hamstra.
She is preceded in death by her son, Curt Davis and grandson, Chris Davis.
Services for Fran will take place at 2 p.m. EST Monday, March 24, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg with visitation 10 a.m. until service time. Pastor Greg Davis will be officiating and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
