Daniel J. O'Connor, 69, formerly of Pittsboro, passed away Monday.
He was a graduate of Latin School of Indianapolis in 1965, Purdue University in 1971, and Catholic University of Law School in Washington, D.C., in 1976. Daniel was a patent attorney and worked for over 10 years at the U.S. Patent Office. He then started his own private practice in Maryland.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lucy (Strange) O'Connor; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary (O'Maley) Strange, former Loogootee residents; and his paternal grandparents, John and Cora Belle (Mudd) O'Connor.
Survivors include his wife, Sommai O'Connor; siblings John O'Connor (Debbie Moore), Bill O'Connor (Michele), Joan O'Connor (John Schick), and Jim O'Connor (Becky); and six nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial Mass at noon Friday, Oct. 28, at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 9833 E. CR 750N, Brownsburg, IN 46112.
