Wilma Osha

Wilma Osha, an adored wife, caring mother, loving Grandma, Mamie, Mee-Maw and Mamaw, began her greatest journey on Dec. 27, 2018. Born and raised in Daviess County to Lawrence and Blanche Boger, she was a homemaker to her loving husband for 62 years, Richard "Dick" Osha, who preceded her on this voyage.
Since he left on his journey, one thing has been certain. Wilma has been looking forward to the day of being reunited with her love. If you had the chance to know her, she was a compassionate straight-shooter. Never shy to share an opinion, but also always there to let you know how much you meant to her. Wilma was a gift giver, every holiday you could count on the "special of your tastebuds" from QVC.
Wilma shared her love with those that she was closest, her children. By her side was her son, Michael Osha (Nona) of Orlando, Florida; daughter Debbie Brown (Mike) and son Steve Osha (Elaine), both of Washington, Indiana. Wilma also shared this moment with her brothers Jerry Boger (Tina) and Terry Boger (Judy), both of Washington, Indiana. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their families were also there to witness the beginning of this next journey.
She was a perfectionist. Today's agenda was no different. What started as a morning soaked in discouragement, climaxed with a beautiful remembrance of her family together celebrating her life. That celebration stretched on to a local family favorite, the White Steamer, where the family enjoyed extra thick milkshakes, cheeseburger with onion, and a few fries. As the memories and conversation continued throughout the afternoon, the skies gave way to a brilliant blaze of color as the sun set.
Her children, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one in the oven, will celebrate Wilma and her next adventure in a private ceremony. The remembrance will take place at Gill Funeral Home and conclude at New Veale Creek Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the individuals that helped make this transition peaceful. If you would like to make a donation to a memorial fund, the family would like them directed to Central Christian Church of Washington, Indiana. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.gillsince1872.com.
