William "Bill"'s Story
William Joseph "Bill" Klees, 61, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
Bill was born in Brooklyn, New York, on Oct. 20, 1956, to the late William and Ernestine (Michitsch) Klees. He graduated from Washington Catholic High School and earned an associate's degree from ITT Tech. Bill went on to work at NCR Corporation as an electronic engineering technician for 35 years. He enjoyed his dogs, golfing and a good dessert. Family was most important to Bill. He loved watching his kids play ball and playing cars with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Yvonne (Kluemper) Klees of Evansville; daughter Megan Klees of Evansville; sons Michael Klees (Alysha) of West Milton, Ohio, and Matthew Klees (Kaycey) of Evansville; grandchildren Evelyn, Mason and Killian Klees; sisters Kathleen Gardner of Munroe Falls, Ohio, and Christine Tucker (Tom) of Washington; and by his family dogs, Mollie and Missy Bear.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law Larry Gardner.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Rev. Jason Gries officiating.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Sunday.
