We lost Bud on Nov. 21 after a 10-day illness. We were blessed that he had been doing what he loved the best, playing basketball at the YMCA, the day that he got sick.
We have delayed his celebration of life so that we can honor what would have been his 80th birthday. We will be having it at the home of Julie Jones in the Glendale area, where his mom's Ward family resided and she taught, as an additional tribute. The celebration will be on July 29 and will be casual, just the way he would have liked it. The hours are between 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. It is a Sunday after church and we hope to add your stories to ours to really create a great day to remember our Buddy.
Please contact Julie on Facebook for directions, but we are right across from Aikman Creek Church Cemetery.
