Susan "Susie" Lovina (Wagler) Knepp, 86, of Montgomery, entered into rest peacefully surrounded by loved ones at 9:50 p.m. Sunday at her home.
She was born in Daviess County on Nov. 26, 1930, to the late John J. and Lovina (Graber) Wagler.
Susie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married Jan. 22, 1950, to Enos "Peanut" Knepp, who preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1998.
Susie is also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Wilmer Ray (Lovina) Graber; eight brothers, John Henry, Joseph, Francis, Levi, Benjamin, Harry J., Arthur, and Alva Enos Wagler; and one sister, Martha Miller.
She is survived by five sons, Ira (Sara) Knepp of Loogootee, John Elmer Knepp of Cannelburg, Joseph (Amanda) Knepp of Odon, Leroy (Rachel) Knepp and Jacob (Betty Jean) Knepp, both of Montgomery; three daughters, Martha (David) King of New Holland, Pennsylvania, Lovina (Crist) Miller of Cannelburg and Mary Sue (Samuel) Graber of Odon; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; sister Mary (Homer, deceased) Knepp of Montgomery; and sister-in-law, Fannie (Alva, deceased) Wagler of Milroy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Produce Building. Burial will follow in Wagler Cemetery.
Visitation will continue at the Produce Building until the time of service.
Arrangements were provided by Blake and Wagler Funeral Home in Montgomery.
