Rosa Miller, 88, of Montgomery, passed away at 8:05 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at her home.
She was born October 29, 1928 in Daviess County, Indiana to the late Simon and Magalena (Wagler) Kemp.
Rosa married Amos Miller August 14, 1948 and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Mennonite Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Rosa was the last living member of her Kemp family.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Miller; parents, Simon and Magalena (Wagler) Kemp; siblings, Katie (1st husband, Henry and 2nd husband, Jacob) Stoll, Edith (Eli) Wagler, Adeline Slaubaugh, Leroy Kemp and Dave Kemp.
She is survived by her children, Betty (Levi) Knepp of Cannelburg, Mary Lou (Daryl) Swartzentruber of Loogootee, Larry Miller, Pauline (Tom) Shofner, Robert (Dianna) Miller, Donald Miller, all of Montgomery, Judy (Paul) Arvin of Loogootee; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Eli Slaubaugh of Ohio and sister-in-law, Miriam Kemp of Cost Rica.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at First Mennonite Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at First Mennonite Church and Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Mennonite Church.
