Mrs. R.L. Wade, of Washington, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, from Washington Nursing Center.
Mrs. Wade was a homemaker and attended Trinity Gospel Tabernacle. She was a former Salvation Army officer. She was also a seamstress and a very good cook who enjoyed loving and caring for her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Edie Overfield (Martin) and Judith Totten (Greg), both of Washington.
Her husband, Homer Dean Wade, preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2000.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Trinity Gospel Tabernacle, 1600 State St., Washington. There will be no visitation.
