Philip Glenn Small, 74, of Washington, passed away Monday at his residence. He was born Sept. 19, 1942, in Washington. He was the son of the late Donald and Anna Catherine (Killion) Small. He was a 1960 graduate of Washington High School and a 1989 graduate of Vincennes University. He married Patricia Ann (Edwards) July 18, 1965, in Daviess County. He worked as an industrial machinist. He was an aviation enthusiast and enjoyed classic cars.
Philip is survived by his wife Patricia; five daughters, Kelly (Shirley) McKendree, Kim (Shawn) McCarter, Kris (Lew) Lenti, Kathy Moffett and Koleen (Jared) Secrest; a son, Matt (Cindy) Small; a sister, Sandra Keifner; 12 grandchildren, Brandy Small, Chelsea Bateman, Taylor Maharrey, Morgan McFayden, Colton Small, Madison Maharrey, Noah Scott, Logan Bateman, Johnathan McBride, Annie Bateman, Owen McBride and Cody Moffett; and two great-granddaughters are expected in the near future. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Faye Anspach; and a son, Randall Glenn Small.
