Patrick Donald Carrico, 43, of Washington, passed away May 8, 2018, at his residence.
Born July 30, 1974, he was the son of the late Donald Emil and Kathy June (Overall) Carrico.
Patrick was a 1992 graduate of Loogootee High School, and served in the Army National Guard.
He was a T.O.W. gunner from 1991-2004, and served a combat tour in Iraq, earning many decorations and awards. He married Madonna "Dee" (Riester) on Feb. 6, 1993, in Washington. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Washington and was proud to be a deacon there.
He is survived by his wife, Madonna "Dee"; daughters Jennifer (Jakob) Babrick and Lyndsey Carrico; a son, Aaron Carrico; a brother, Andrew (Hilary) Carrico; a sister, Kortni (Cody) Brown; stepmother Peggy Carrico; and a grandson, Liam Auberry.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Patrick will be conducted Saturday, 7 p.m., May 12, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Washington, with Pastor Tim Baxter officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and from 5 p.m. until time of service at the church on Saturday.
