Nathan's Story

Nathan Robert Myers, 81, Washington, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Washington Nursing Center.
He was born May 7, 1936, in Daviess County to Floyd and Margaret (Hart) Myers. He was a farmer and a member of the Indiana State Historical Society, Daviess County Historical Society, Northwest Territorial Genealogical Society, Green County Historical Society and Plainville Masonic Lodge #678.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William A. Myers and sisters, Vonda Scott, Shirley O'Hara and Phyllis Meek.
He is survived by his brother, Richard L. Myers of Plainville; sister, Norma Hurley of Scottsburg and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Poindexter-McClure Washington Chapel with Rev. Gwen Pew officiating. A Masonic memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Indiana Epilepsy Foundation in Evansville.
