Mary Sue Ramsey, 72, of Washington, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday. She was born July 7, 1944, in Washington, to Everett and Mildred (Billings) Bennington. She graduated from Washington High School in 1962. She worked for Uniroyal as an assembly worker, and attended the Free Methodist Church in Washington.
She is survived by her son, Lewis L. Lenti (Kris) of Washington; stepson Max Ramsey (Rhonda) of Washington; three sisters, Donna Gould, Pat Kays, and Diana Lents; grandchildren Jennifer Clowers (Travis) and Lorrin Lenti; great-grandchildren Triston Clowers, Jackson Clowers, Bryce Clowers, Nash Clowers and Emma Clowers; stepgrandchildren Leah Shaw (Barry), David J. Akers, Phillip Akers, Amanda Akers, Chelsea Bateman, Logan Bateman, Annie Bateman, Tyler Ramsey, Trey Ramsey (Kaylee), Roger Sparks (Tara), Josh Sparks (Angie) and Jace Sparks (Lizzy); several nieces and nephews; one special niece, DeAnna Smith, great-nephew Isaiah Ramsey, and one special nephew, Shawn Stoll.
Graveside services for Mary Sue will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest, on Friday at 2 p.m. Pastor Adam Conder will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.gillsince1872.com.
