Mary's Story

Mary Annette Bryan, 82, of Washington, went to her heavenly home Jan. 22, 2018, from her residence. She was born July 27, 1935, in Daviess County, to Ross Winton and Mary Elizabeth (Hayden) Potts. She attended Barr-Reeve schools. Mary was a homemaker and loved being a farmer. She previously attended Christ United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. Mary enjoyed gardening and quilting.
Mary is survived by her sisters Linda Schifano (George) and Carol Ragsdale; brothers Curtis Potts (Lavon), Robert Potts (Donna), and Leslie Potts (Mildred); and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; late husbands Robert E. Allen, Paul E. Evans, and Phil K. Bryan; sisters Margaret Beadles and Phyllis M. Potts; and brothers Herbert Potts, Orris Potts and Lowell Potts.
A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery-Reeve Township on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at noon. Online condolences may be made at www.gillsince1872.com.
