Marion "Max" Ingram, 74, of Washington, went to his heavenly home Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019.
He was born March 6, 1945, in Washington, Indiana, to the late Marion Clifford Ingram and Maxine Ingram (Crecelius).
Max was a member of Maysville Church and was a man of great faith. He prayed daily and ended each prayer with "I love you Jesus." Max enjoyed working outside in his garden, riding his motorcycle, hunting, and mostly his family. When ending a phone conversation, Max would say, "kiss kiss," which is now carried over into his family's way of ending their phone calls. Max had a very special companion in his dog, Boo, whom he took with him most everywhere. Max was a very compassionate, vibrant, gentle man who had a great zest for life; he touched many lives and he will be sorely missed.
Max leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon Rose Ingram; children Carla Taylor (Louis), Kim Underhill, Shelly Aldrich (Pete Richmond), Scotty Ingram (Jessica); grandchildren Trent Janosa, Brandi Janosa, Cameron Underhill, Clayton Underhill, Amber Fisher, Mandy Stephens, Dallas Richmond, Canaan Ingram, Arian Ingram and Brody Ingram; and several special nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his parents, and a grandson, Cory Underhill.
Family will be receiving visitors Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut St., Washington, with a service immediately following conducted by Pastor Jason Johnston. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. You may leave a condolence at www.gillsince
