Text size

Margaret (Laube) Padgett, born March 4, 1925, to George and Mary (Eagan) Laube, passed away in Naples, Florida, on December 1, 2016.
She and her husband Lester had lived in Naples since 1987. However, he passed away Feb 20, 2008. A son, Major David E. Padgett, U.S. Army Vietnam, was killed on Feb. 6, 1969.
Margaret was the last of her family. Three brothers, Al, George and Bill, and one sister, Mary Catherine, preceded her in death.
Margaret requested that she rest in peace without any fanfare. She was loved and is missed. She lived her life with unfaltering faith.
A quote from Margaret:
"Just think,
You're here not by chance, but by God's choosing. His hand formed you and made you the person you are. He compares you to no one else, you are one of a kind. You lack nothing that his grace can't give you. He has allowed you to be here at this time in history to fulfill his special purpose for this generation."
