Lois M. Theroff, 91, of Washington, went to her heavenly home at 3:32 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Amber Manor Health Care Center in Petersburg.
She was born March 9, 1927, in Washington, to Owen and MaLinda (Thompson) Clark. She had worked at Murphy's, Tindall's, the Locker Super Market, Uniroyal Rubber factory, and in the produce department at Hersch's IGA and was a member of Twin Oaks Church in Petersburg. She enjoyed sewing and caring for her family members, as well as her extended church family.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Rudy) Tilley of Petersburg and Jane (Jack) Hooker of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Terrence (Sharon) Theroff of Washington and Mike Theroff of Petersburg; two brothers, James Owen Clark of Washington and Ivan Clark of Jasper; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Theroff, on Oct. 11, 2002, whom she married Feb. 25, 1945; first grandson, Jaret Tilley; one sister, Janice Lashley; three brothers, Edward "Bud" Clark, Billy Gene Clark and Donald Clark.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Twin Oaks Church in Petersburg, with Rev. Tim Miller officiating, Burial will follow in Aikman Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Twin Oaks Church.
