Judith's Story

Judith Ann Rasico, 73, of Loogootee, passed away Dec. 11, 2017, in Jasper at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
She was born Feb. 19, 1944, to Thomas and Pauline (Reinhart) Kidwell in Loogootee.
Judith graduated high school from St. John High School in 1962. She was a lifetime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee. She married Charles "Greg" Rasico on Feb. 16, 1963, and he survives. Judith was a professional cantor at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for over 50 years, she loved crafting and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Pauline Kidwell; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Theodore Sr. and Carrie Rasico; a grandson, Jaxston Anderson Rasico, who passed in infancy; a brother who passed in infancy, Eddie Kidwell; her sister and brother-in-law, Janette and Jim Farley; and her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws Opal Cecelia and John McAtee, and Theodore Jr. and Betty Rasico; and nieces Theresa Rasico and Cheryl Maki.
Judith is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles "Greg" Rasico; four children, Inger (Rick) Johnson, Tom (Debbie) Rasico, Eric (Mary) Rasico, Adam (Danielle) Rasico; 17 grandchildren, Jeremiah and Scott Johnson, Josh, Danielle, Caroline, Katie, Austin, Adyen, Tristen, Kashia and Lainey Rasico, Audrey and Alex King, Alexis and Jarrett Tripp, Ashton Knepp; one great-grandchild, Adalynn Rose Rasico; one brother, Jimmy (Linda) Kidwell; and one aunt and uncle, Mary Ruth and John Boyle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. J. Kenneth Walker at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at St. John the Evangelist Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
