Juanita House, 89, passed away Tuesday at Amber Manor in Petersburg.
Juanita was born June 19, 1927, in Washington, to Roy and Mabel (McCary) May. She graduated from Washington High School and had attended Aikman Creek Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Reba (Andy) Arvin of Loogootee, and Judy (Bob Killion) Robinson; two sons, Roger (Veronica ) Robinson of Loogootee and Eldon (Lida) of Velpen; two brothers, Asil May and Dudley May, both of Washington; four sisters, Naomi Thomas and Nina Way, both of Washington, Vera Rogowski of Florida, and Carol Rediger of Arizona.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Kyle Birt and an infant grandson; sisters Frieda Arthur, Virginia Robinson and Rosemary Fidler, and an infant twin sister; brothers Laverne May, Leon May and Philip May.
Her children will have a memorial service in her honor Thursday at 6 p.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
