John Doyle Walker, 66, of Washington, passed away Sunday in Greenville, Illinois.
He was born May 24, 1950, in Washington, to Vincent and Wilma (Doyle) Walker. He was a 1968 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He worked as a computer programmer. He enjoyed hiking and the outdoors and was a master naturalist intern in the state of Illinois.
He is survived by one sister, Jill Walker of Indianapolis; three brothers, Steve (Maryann) Walker of Lee Summit, Missouri, Paul (Patty) Walker of Villa Hills, Kentucky, and Mark Walker of Guyman, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and a sister-in-law, Clydean Walker.
