Janice L. Hudson, 67, of Washington, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, with her family at her side.
Janice was born in Washington to the late Carl and Wilma (Hoffman) Fuhrman on July 17, 1950. She was a 1968 Barr-Reeve graduate and went on to pursue an administrative career at Crane Naval Base, from which she retired in 2012. Janice was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and enjoyed her fellowship with her church family. Janice also held dear the time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren, and her sister.
Those Janice left to mourn her loss are a daughter, Staci Clauss of Madisonville, Kentucky; a son, Aaron Hudson of Washington; three grandchildren, Jakob and Hannah Clauss, and Stella Deitz; and a sister, Marilyn Fuhrman of Louisville, Kentucky.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Lynnette Hudson.
There will be a memorial visitation at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1002 1/2 N.E. Sixth St., Washington, on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with Rev. Christopher Byars officiating a memorial service on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, at 1 p.m., also at the church. Inurnment will follow in Goodwill Cemetery of Loogootee.
