Jackson Reed Spaulding, 42, of Washington, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Thursday at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born Aug. 14, 1974, in Washington, to Raymond "Lee" and Brenda (Reed) Spaulding.
He was a graduate of Barr-Reeve High School.
He is survived by his parents; his uncles, Allen Reed, Terry Grove, Roger and Glenn Spaulding; his aunts, Susan (Calvin) Persohn, Barbara (Virgil) Knepp, Linda (Terry) Riggins, Nancy (Robert) Spaulding; and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Hazel Reed, and Jack and Wilma Spaulding; his aunt, Jan (Browning) Grove; and his uncle, John Browning.
Jackson enjoyed quail hunting, watching sports and being with his friends. His carefree way could make you smile, turning a bad day into a good day.
He was cremated and his ashes scattered on the family property.
