Connie Haag Robbins, 74, of Wheatland, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital, with her brother and sister in attendance.
She was born Dec. 10, 1942, in Wheatland, to Leo J. and Elsie (Dunn) Haag. Connie retired from the Knox County Circuit Court as a court reporter, Knox County clerk's office, having worked there over 30 years. She was an active member of the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg. She graduated from Wheatland High School in 1960 and Indiana Business College. She loved her dogs, Sweeti and Chopper, helping other people and volunteering at her church.
She is survived by her brother, Donald E. Haag of Wheatland; her sister, Linda (Kenny) Newton of Monroe City; nieces Lisa Ice-Jones, LaDonna McCrary and Nancy Gatton; nephews Mark Haag and Steven Newton.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Joseph Haag; niece Laura Cumba; and sister in-law Linda Haag.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg, with William Dietsch and Frank Renner officiating. Burial will be at Wheatland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg. Condolences may be sent online at www.edleemortuary.com
