Claire M. Hock, 83, of Washington, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away at 4:16 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Villages of Oak Ridge.
She was born June 3, 1933, in Bellevue, Kentucky, to William and Clare (Carruthers) Fredwest. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
She is survived by three sons, Paul Hock of Bloomington, Tom (Cindy ) Hock of Montgomery, and Mark Hock of Fairfield, Ohio; and two stepgranddaughters, Charlene and Melinda Steiner.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman L. Hock, whom she married Aug. 6, 1960; one daughter, Christina Hock; and two brothers, David Fredwest and Bill Fredwest.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until Mass time on Tuesday.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
