Carol Perkins, 48, of Indianapolis, formerly of Washington, passed away at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis on Jan. 16, 2018, from injuries suffered in a car accident.
She was born Dec. 7, 1969, in Washington, to John and Mary Perkins. She had worked in broadcasting and later switched to a career in nursing.
She is survived by her brother, Mike (Laura) Perkins of Terre Haute; sister-in-law Teresa Perkins of Shiloh, Illinois; nephews Matthew, Bryce, Josh and Jace Perkins and Brandon Wesselman; niece Ashley Wesselman; and her fur babies, Teddy and Joey.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Perkins; and brother Jim Perkins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
