Abraham Knepp Abraham Knepp, 95, of Montgomery, passed away Wednesday, Nov, 28, 2018, at 11:04 p.m. at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by his family.
He was born Jan. 24, 1923, in Montgomery, Indiana, to John and Rachel (Stoll) Knepp.
Abraham was a member of Zion Amish Mennonite Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rachel Knepp; his wife of 62 years, Sylvia (Graber) Knepp; his brothers, Ezra, Homer, Ervin; his sister, Viola Graber; his daughter, Carolyn Kay Wagler; his grandson, Bradley Wagler; and his great-grandson, Brandon Wagler.
Abraham is survived by his children, Owen (Harriet) Knepp of Montgomery, Virgil (Barbara) Knepp of Montgomery, Clarence "Shorty" (Patsy) Knepp of Montgomery, Dorothy (Kevin) Delaney of Sarasota, Florida, Jack (Candy) Knepp of Sarasota; his brother, Lester Knepp and his sisters, Verda Knepp, Rachel Yoder, all of Montgomery; son-in-law Elmer Wagler of Loogootee; 15 grandchildren; 28 great- grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at Zion Amish Mennonite Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and then resume from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Zion Amish Mennonite Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Zion Youth Mission Fund.
